Barbara Bergeron

Barbara A. Bergeron, daughter of Alice Louise Bastis and Paul Robert Bastis, passed away on June 2, 2024 after suffering a cardiac arrest on May 29, 2024 in her home in McCook, NE. She leaves behind her spouse of 34 years, John E. Bergeron, her son, Joshua P. Murphy and his wife, Chelsea and his children Jeep and Samantha, her daughter, Shara A. McCarthy and her husband, Eugene and their children Orla and Olwen, her step-daughter, Sara E. Bird and her husband Christopher and son Cameron, her step-daughter, Jami R. Garner, her sister, Lisa A. Howard and her husband, Robert and their children, Sean, Chris and Andrew, and her beloved cats, Buddy and Jasmine. 

Barbara was looking forward to moving to Tucson, AZ with her husband and cats. Her love of cats and family was obvious in her daily life. While she suffered with chronic pain, she tried to live life to the fullest. She was loved by not only her family, but the many friends she has made throughout the years. She was as generous and loving after death as she was in life by choosing to donate her organs. She was cremated at Arbor Cremation Society in Omaha, NE. There are no words to express how much she will be missed.
