Gary Grant Hofeldt II

December 15, 1964 — January 19, 2024

Omaha, Nebraska

Gary G Hofeldt II entered his heavenly home on January 19, 2024. He was born to Gary and Marilyn Hofeldt on 12/15/64 in Denver Colorado.  Gary married Julie in 1985 even after the marriage was dissolved, they continued to care and Love for their son Davin Hofeldt.  Davin was and will continue to be Gary’s pride and joy!  
Gary attended College to become an Automotive Tech then went on to furthering education in HVAC where he found his passion.  Gary loved helping put a smile on people’s faces and getting their homes back in comfortable condition.
 Gary worked as a Maintenance Technician over 25 years in addition to HVAC Installation and Repairs he taught himself many skills for home repair.  He worked for Properties throughout Omaha and loved fixing things.
Gary loved flyfishing in the Mountains and had a great love for nature.  Gary loved bowling and had a unique curve ball.  Gary won several 300 pins from bowling and enjoyed a trip he and his team won to Las Vegas.  Gary loved to cook and his specialty was Green Chili Burritos. Gary enjoyed playing pool while watching his favorite teams the Huskers and the Broncos play football.  Drives in the country were something Gary always looked forward to visiting family and friends along the way.
Gary fought through many obstacles and challenges with his health over the years and beat all odds. He loved life and above all his family.  Julie became his caregiver when the challenges became many and stood by his side to the end.
Gary is survived by his son, Davin Hofeldt, Sister Lisa May and Darren Peters, Chris Hicks (nephew) and Brittany, Michael Hicks (nephew) and Amber, Kyla, Jett, and Shepherd,  Justin May (nephew) Alyssa, Isabella and Savannah, Wesley Fuller (Brother in Law), Kevin and Denise Fuller (Brother and Sister In Law) Lane Fuller and Kobe Fuller (nephews) and Bailey Fuller (niece), multiple cousins, Aunts and Uncles along with many other special friends.  
Gary was proceeded in death by his parents; Gary and Marilyn Hofeldt, Gary and Verna Fuller (Father and Mother In Law), Michelle Hicks (Sister), Renae Fuller (Sister in Law), Kylie Hicks (Niece) Grandparents,  Aunts and Uncles.  
A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at St Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church 1725 S 60th Street, Omaha, NE 68106 on February 24th at 1:30 p.m
