Rebekah Danae Frank passed away peacefully at her home in Tekamah, NE on January 4, 2024 after a long battle with colorectal cancer with her husband Zach, and family by her side. Bek, as she was called by family and friends, was born on May 15th, 1990 in Wayne, NE. She was the daughter of Aaron Ogan and Kerri Spahn both from Nebraska.
Rebekah was preceded in death by her grandfather, Alan Fisher; her grandfather, Aaron Ogan Sr.; grandmother, Deloris Ogan. She is survived by her husband, Zach Frank; her father and step-mother, Aaron and Melissa Ogan; her mother and stepfather, Kerri and Kenny Spahn; her brothers Daniel and Jacob Ogan; her sisters, Brit James, Haley Weibelhaus, and Hannah Ogan.
Rebekah loved Jesus and spoke of her faith in him often that began December 23,1998. She knew this life was not about her. Rebekah joined hands with Jesus to fulfill whatever tasks he set before her and shared his love with all he brought her way. She fiercely loved her husband Zach and the life they had built together in Tekamah. Rebekah loved laughter and had a keen sense of humor with a touch of much appreciated sarcasm. She loved her family and enjoyed going to Ord to visit her grandparents, Christine and Darrell Hackel. She loved her animals inside and outside of her home, cats Mordecai, and Boaz; dogs Zeke and Priscilla; Horses Fred and Cash ; and “the girls” as she called them, her chickens.
Rebekah loved flowers and her gardens, decorating and restoring her big old farmhouse, sunrises, fishing, thunderstorms, and a beautiful snowfall.
Rebekah graduated high school with academic distinction in 2009 from Fremont High School. Rebekah began working at Linkedin in 2016 and enjoyed working with her Quality Assurance Team.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE is at 1pm on Friday January 19, at Community Bible Church 3616 S 132nd St, Omaha, NE 68144. We invite all of Rebekah’s family and friends to join us in celebrating the gift of Rebekah’s life.
