Born in St Paul, Minnesota on January 30, 1939 and died on September 26, 2024 in Elkhorn Nebraska. Bob passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones after a short battle, hard fought battle with melanoma.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Mary Selbitschka, with whom he shared 4 children. Craig, (Michele) daughter Lauren. David, (Amy) sons Matt (Ada) and Nick, daughters Maggie and Emily. Brian, (Jennifer) child Z. Katie (Tony) Steffen sons Sam, Sawyer and daughter Teagan. Charles Selbitschka (brother) Theodore Selbitschka (brother) 3 great grandchildren Lily, Jaxson and Harper, And many nieces and nephews
Preceded in death by Father Frank and Mother Mary. Brothers Jack, Frank, Hugo, Cyril, Henry, Norbert, Bernard and sisters Adelaide, Theresa and Marie.
The thing that was the most important to Bob was family. His loss will be forever felt to those close to him. He had a love that was never ending, arms that were never empty, and his heart was always full.
Services will be October 8th at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in North St Paul, Minnesota at 12pm. There will be a wake 1 hour prior to the service.
Burial will be full military honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on October 9th.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to be designated at a different time by the family.
