Scott Allen Matthiessen

Scott A. Matthiessen, 62, of Omaha, Nebraska, born August 31, 1961, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on December 16, 2023. 

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Matthiessen; three daughters, Jenn (Chris) Perrings, Christine (David) Young, and Mallory Matthiessen (Jacob Halcomb); seven grandchildren, Natalie Perrings, Sofia Perrings, Sadie Perrings, Charlotte Perrings, Jersey Young, Jacey Young, and Laila Halcomb. He is also survived by his mother Lois Matthiessen, brother Brad (Gail) Matthiessen, sister Tracy Matthiessen, mother-in-law Lois Jonswold, bothers in-law David Jonswold, and Paul (Tonya) Jonswold and sister-in-law Janet Taylor and beloved nieces and nephews. 

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Matthiessen and his father-in-law, Ellis Jonswold. 

Per his request no services will be held. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
