Terrence Richard Haugse

Terrence Richard Haugse was born August 27, 1951 in Omaha NE to Gordon Derwin Haugse and Laura Ann (Ward) Haugse.  He passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 72 years, 4 months, and 21 days old.  He lived his entire life in Omaha graduating from Omaha Central High School with the Class of 1969 and continuing his education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  He retired from the US Post Office.

On August 17, 1979, he married Patricia Ann Gilman.  She and  her two children Jay (Sherry) Gilman and Elizabeth (Damien) Perquin and their children Phaylen, Presley, and David and grandchildren Imani, Brycen and Eleanor survive him.  He is also survived by his sister Mary Haugse Dannatt of Milford IA, his brother Patrick (Gayla) Haugse of Erie CO, and his nieces and nephews Tara (Willy) Rabenberg of Spencer IA, Jody (Greg) Jenness of Spirit Lake IA, Jeremiah (Jill) Haugse of Arvada CO, JoAnna (Patrick) Compton of Erie CO, and Juliet (Shane) Wooley of Broomfield CO.  He is also survived by many members and friends of Our  Family Social Credit Union.

Preceeding him in death were his father Gordon in 1979, his mother Laura in 1988, and his brother-in-law B Keith Dannatt in 2021.
